A message from Simon (Lan)...
So last Saturday for youth, the JMYF looked at how to glorify God in their youth! Here are some important verses to remember in times of struggles!
Ecclesiastes 12:1
Remember your Creator
in the days of your youth,
before the days of trouble come
and the years approach when you will say,
"I find no pleasure in them"
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
We looked a bit at Josiah who was king at 8 years old (that’s even younger than Chloe!), and who walked in the ways of the Lord even though he was brought up in a sinful environment.
