Steph L. - pray for orientation week and for the start of uni that it will be a smooth transition from school; pray for the QUT people who started this week; pray for the people who are looking for jobs
RL - thanks that I have a break from sermons next Sunday; thanks that I convinced someone not to buy Rolex watches as I talked them out of buying them; thanks that I touched the heart of the congregation regarding offering, as the Chinese offering in the past two weeks was $10000 and $7000 respectively; pray that the church will be a place to shine a light in the darkness
Steffy - thank God for my friend and for Callista's safe arrival in Brisbane; pray for their preparation in uni; thanks that my friend was able to find accommodation; pray for everyone's physical and mental health; pray for Xiao-xiao and Karensa to have better conduct with their behaviour; pray also for wisdom and guidance in a certain issue; pray for my family to come to Christ
Zef - thanks for Chinese New Year; pray for Steffy's family to come to Christ; pray for the Easter preparations; pray for Michael and his plans to increase his musical knowledge; pray that everyone can be more disciplined in their spiritual readings and prayers etc.
Sam - thank God that most people have got their act together in regards to their English assignment which is due next week; pray for continued determination across many areas
Tim - thank God that I shouldn't have to go back to the dental school for clinic; pray for everyone on placement this year that it can be fruitful and that they can balance their lives properly; pray for those who are less fortunate than us in our society as they miss many of the basic things like health education that we often take for granted
KC - thank God for family; pray for job applications; pray for my friend Jolene who is coming back to settle that she can also find a job; pray for all those in their final year of uni that they won't stress too much
Kev - pray for the final year of uni that I don't stress out too much; pray for vocational direction; pray that I can continue to learn on the job and that I can make some progress in the firm by the end of the financial year; pray for my mum and dad's theological studies and financial situation; pray for my family; pray for Bui and his interview tomorrow; pray for the Commonwealth Bank's offer to the storm victims
Viv - thanks that my phone bill has been sorted out; pray that I still find this year fun
Wendy Y. - pray for Andrew in National Service as he has been really tired lately that he will stay close to God; pray for everyone who is seeking guidance from God regarding any area of their life that they will keep praying earnestly and that God will reveal what He wants to them
Michael - thank God for a good start to youth this year; pray for next week which is JMYF and MYF bonding night that it goes well and stuff happens
Ems - pray for everyone who has started uni this year; pray for everyone who is changing jobs or looking for a job
Serena - pray that my family comes to know Jesus; pray for Luke that he can find a job soon in design somewhere; pray for more discipline in reading the Bible and praying etc.
Frances - pray for the youth and the JMYFers who are stepping up to serve in different things like ushering and P&W; pray for Sunday School that some of the kids are stepping up to lead singspiration every morning; pray for the leaders that they will find time to teach and mentor the non-leaders
Sven - thank God that I got the job I was looking for; pray that I can get settled in next week and learn my job quickly; pray for my dad as he's been talking to a few people lately, but has been getting agitated
