Sven - pray for the final stage of the interview for my job application this Friday that I will get a job soon; thank God that I recently started talking with my dad about Christianity and pray that it will start something
Frances - pray for the JMYFers as a lot of them are starting to think about serving in youth as we have some JMYFers who are wiling to sing for P&W etc; pray that they will be able to mature and that we can set a good example for them; pray for youth starting up that we can see this new year and see what the purpose of our youth is - will we actually use it for God or is it just a closed group for us to enjoy ourselves?; pray that the Holy Spirit will give us some guidance and zeal to do His work
Simon L. - pray for uni starting next week; pray that I can study more; pray for the Welcome Back program as I haven't planned anything yet
Steph L. - pray for a lot of my friends who are moving out of Brisbane for uni that they can settle in well, be safe away from home and take care of themselves; pray for uni preparations; pray that I can conduct Solo Gratia for Easter and be able to arrange things
Nick - thank God that my mum and sister are settling down in our new house in Bulimba and that the house is coming together well; pray that the weather will be more forgiving
Sam - thank God I did my homework; pray for continued success in homework and other things
Tim - pray for the weather and that people will take care of themselves and not get dehydrated; pray for the new JMYF committee that they will be able to lead the next generation of Christians and non-Christians
Bui - thank God for a good weekend and a safe flight to and from Melbourne; pray for Callista who is coming up; pray for my cousin who is an international student and enjoyed the uni ministry that he saw
Kevin - thank God for a good weekend and for a successful skit and song presentation; thank God for family and for understanding that I was at church away from them; pray for the last two weeks of the holidays that I will be working full time; pray for preparation for the start of semester and timetables etc. and for the beginning of youth for my short message and bonding night activities
Viv - pray for career for some positions that if it is in God's will, I will get
Ems - pray for safety on the roads; thank God that no-one was seriously hurt in a 40-car pileup in Kansas; pray for the family of the boy who was killed this morning at St. Patrick's and for all his classmates
Michael - pray for next Saturday when youth starts up again and pray that we can invite friends and new people; pray that we can encourage people who are relatively new to youth to keep coming
Serena - pray for my family that they will come to Christ; pray for safety on the roads; thank God that Luke got here safely and pray for a safe trip back for him for tomorrow; pray for everyone looking for jobs; pray for comfort for the family of my primary school principal who recently passed away and that we can recognise the people around us and love them the way God intended us ; pray for the world that we realize the power of prayer and have a burden for what the world sees through the media and makes seem acceptable and pray that we can stay firm in what we believe in
Luke - thank God for Chinese New Year celebrations as it was interesting to see how EMP does it; pray that the celebration touched the hearts of any of the non-Christians who went there; pray for the university and young people Bible study group that it would be a great new year for Bible study and hopefully we'll be able to take lots from what they're going to teach; pray for more people to attend the group
RL - pray for the conferences at the end of this year as I'm still trying to match the Adult and Women's conferences with the Youth Conference
